2022 Weekend Adventure Announcement

Good day, Adventure Friends!

We’ve been scheming and cooking up the 2022 Salsa Fargo Sub 48 plans and wanted to pass on some of the details in hopes that you can make it. We selected the April 29 – May 1 weekend for our gathering and the bike packing adventure will have us exploring vast miles of seasonal and gravel roads throughout the scenic Manistee National Forest. While we are still dialing in the final details, we know our first night and launch point will be around the Wellston, Michigan area located in the Mid-Western area of Michigan’s Lower Peninsula.

Registration for the weekend will open on Tuesday, February 15 at 5 PM EST on Bikereg and will once again be limited to the first 140 riders.

While we are still in the process of nailing down the exact routes, one thing we know is there will be plenty of scenic gravel and seasonal roads with big hills and even bigger views of the area.  Once again we’d suggest having some solid miles of riding under your belt leading up to the weekend and a bike with a minimum of 40c tires or even wider.

Included with your bike adventure registration:
- Great people, conversations, riding and lots of laughs along the way
- Camping fees for 2 nights (Friday and Saturday)
- Salsa Fargo t-shirt
- Items and samples from our partners
- Founders beer and hard Seltzer (assorted selection will be offered in cans) 
- Friday evening Founders beer, snacks
- Plenty of firewood for bonfires
- Saturday pre-ride breakfast:  Camzies meal, juice, fruit, coffee
- Saturday during the ride; we'll have an aid station with a sandwich, chips, water, bars, gels, fruit....
- Saturday Post ride; afternoon snacks, full Camzies wood fired pizzas, sides, Sarah Lee Pie, cans of Founders beer, & hard seltzer. We'll have multiple bonfires and plenty of fire wood. 
- Sunday morning; Camzies meal, fruit, juice, coffee and shorter ride back to original campsite and your car
- Course maps and cue sheets
- GPS downloadable routes for each day
- Porta jons
