2020 Sub 48 weekend - Update

Dear Salsa Sub 48 friends,

We hope you’re well and riding your bikes for some normalcy in your life, as we navigate through this tough time.

We’re continuing to pull together plans for our Fall 2020 weekend and thought we’d share some of the details to give you a taste of what you can expect, as well as giving you something to look forward to.

We’ll be adventuring by bike the weekend of September 11 – 13 with the traditional format of meeting Friday evening and departing Sunday early afternoon. We’re really pumped for this years location as we explore the backroads around the Crystal Lake, Thompsonville, Arcadia, Michigan area, located close to the Lake Michigan coast. (Approx. 135 miles North West of Grand Rapids)

The scenic routes will be a mix of winding gravel roads, interesting seasonal roads, some single track options and a libation stop at Iron Fish Distillery.

We’ve decided to hold off on announcing a date for registration in the hopes of gaining more visibility with the Country’s progress and directions regarding Covid 19.  Over the coming weeks we’ll continue to fine tune the weekend plans and once we set the registration date, we’ll email everyone with more information.
